Clay Cloud
A distributed runtime for Clay. You describe what to run as code; Clay Cloud runs it where it should run, within limits you set.
Early design. Nothing is hosted yet: this site and the dashboard are placeholders, and the pieces below exist as a local prototype in the repository.
Ideas
- Code by hash. A job names a definition by its content hash, so what runs is exactly what was reviewed, anywhere.
- Capabilities, not credentials. A program can only do what its abilities allow, and a policy decides which handlers answer them.
- Limits up front. Every job runs in an envelope (time, memory, calls) and reports what it used.
